In what order do you design a room?

I created this blog to share interior design, travel and lifestyle inspiration for simple, relaxed living at home and beyond. The benefit of finishing one room before moving on to the next is that you feel less overwhelmed, you can enjoy a completely finished space while the others are construction zones, and you can carry out your design vision without distractions. Room layout is one of the most crucial aspects of good interior design, and it's often what I spend the most time perfecting when working on projects for clients. I usually use Canva to create an inspiration board for a room's design, but you can also use something as simple as PowerPoint or Google Pages.
